The AmpProng Plus has a 6000mAh capacity, 2 amp input and 2.4 amp output. There are two output USB slots. The battery indicator lights up with the push of a button (I like this feature much more than the Anker) and if charging doesn't start immediately after plugging in, pressing the button will kick off charging.
My only complaint for the myCharge AmpPro Plus is that the only way to charge the unit is with a wall outlet. For this reason, I generally leave this unit at home for backup power in case of power outages.
This unit usually rides in the pickup with me so I can keep it charged but have it in case the need arises. It does not hold a charge as well as the myCharge units, but it is also subjected to freezing temperatures in winter and hot weather in the summer since it remains in the truck. I don't mind charging the unit and although it does deplete over time, the loss is marginal over the course of weeks and months. My only real beef with this unit is the shake-to-start function. Shaking the unit starts power to the output ports and also turns on the power indicator lights. Bumps in the pickup will also cause this to happen, but the company claims that 100,000 shakes will consume less than 1% of battery.
